Eagle Idaho
Eagle Idaho is known for its location along the Boise River, upscale homes, and the city’s emphasis on “smart growth.” Many new residential and mixed use developments are planned or underway such as the “Eagle River District” that will feature a movie theatre, restaurants, and condos. Eagle Places of Interest
Golf Courses. There are two 18 hole golf courses located in Eagle- BanBury Golf Course and Eagle Hills Golf Course.
Vineyards. While still in its infancy, Eagle is becoming known as “wine country.” Eagle has an annual food and wine festival featuring local wines, top Idaho chefs, and live music. In 2007 the Treasury Department approved the Snake River Valley Viticulture Area, an award given to distinctive grape growing regions. One Eagle winery, Three Horse Ranch, won a bronze metal at an international wine festival in June 2008.
Eagle Island State Park. Nestled along the Boise River, this 545 acre park features picnic areas, a swimming beach, and 5 miles of equestrian trails.
Dining. Eagle has many great restaurants such as Six One Six, Bardenay, Eagle Mai Thai, and Eagle Rib Shack.
Eagle Farmer’s Market. On Saturday mornings during the summer month’s residents gather at the Old Town Square to buy fresh and local food, hand crafted art, and enjoy live entertainment.
