Kuna is a small town of about 15,000 located 18 miles South West of Boise. Like other Boise suburbs, the city has experienced booming population in the last 15 years. Kuna offers the small town feel yet its location 7 miles south of I-84 also provides residents great access into Boise and the amenities of a larger city. Kuna is best known as the gateway to the Snake River Birds of Prey and as the location of Idaho’s Initial Point.

Kuna Places of Interest
Snake River Birds of Prey. In 1993 this National Conservation Area was dedicated to protect the environment of the world’s densest populations of Eagles, Falcons, Hawks, and Owls.
Kuna Caves. This cave was formed by what was once a lava tube.
Initial Point Butte. In 1867, this small but prominent butte in the desert of Kuna became Idaho’s initial point for all surveying.
